The Alicante museums you can't miss

Santa Bárbara Castle is not only famous for its history, but also for the fact that it houses various exhibition halls with a temporary exhibition, which changes over time. It is certainly a great option to enjoy this historic building in Spain and get closer to culture through its rooms. Inside this castle, there is also another tourist attraction such as the Alicante City Museum MUSA, which takes a tour of the city's history on different floors.

Another museum you cannot miss is the MARQ Provincial Archaeological Museum, the only 21st century archaeological museum that offers a fascinating collection with samples ranging from prehistory to our current times. For art lovers, then the two most outstanding museums are the MACA Museum of Contemporary Art and the Gravina MUBAG Museum of Fine Arts. The first of these is located in the heart of the Basilica of Santa María, the oldest building in the city and located in the heart of it. While the second is located in the old Gravina Palace and is dedicated to art with various collections and works that delight painting lovers.
