The hotel is conveniently located, so the location also offers the opportunity to explore surrounding regions. The train station is 600m away from the hotel, making it as easily accessible as the university, which is 500m away. The market square with the famous Gänseliesel is about 1 km away from the hotel.

Hotel sehr gut, aber Probleme beim Einchecken

Mit dem Zimmer war ich - wie immer - sehr zufrieden, alles top. Allerdings bin ich gegen Mitternacht angereist und habe am Automaten zwar die Zimmernummer, aber keinen Zugangscode angezeigt bekommen. Habe es mehrfach probiert und schließlich die angegebene Nummer für Notfälle angerufen - und dann über 20 Minuten in der Warteschleife gesteckt. Gegen 1 Uhr habe ich dann aufgegeben und mir am Automaten ein neues Zimmer gebucht - was dann (inkl. Code) problemlos geklappt hat. Am nächsten Morgen hat die sehr hilfsbereite und kompetente Dame an der Rezeption alles sehr schnell geregelt (ein anderer Gast hatte in der Nacht das gleiche Problem). Ärgerlich war die Angelegenheit aber schon, da ich sehr früh abreisen musste und gehofft hatte, eine ruhige Nacht im Hotelzimmer zu verbringen.

Directions to Hotel Göttingen City

From the A7: Exit 72-Göttingen-Nord towards Göttingen-Nord/Bovenden/Duderstadt, take the right lane to the B3 exit in the direction of Göttingen-Lutteranger/Northeim, continue on B3, turn right onto Im Rinschenrott, continue straight on Maschmühlenweg, turn left at Hildebrandstraße - the hotel is on the right after 240 m.

Alternatively A7 from the south: Take exit 73-Göttingen, turn right towards Göttingen-Rosdorf on B3/Kasseler Landstraße, then left onto Bahnhofsallee, right onto Maschmühlenweg - the hotel is on the right.
