Die Empfangsassistentin war ausgesprochen nett und freundlich. Zimmer, sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Bett, sehr bequem. Badezimmer, sauber. Bissel teuer aber trotzdem zufrieden.

City tax
Overnight stay tax and guest contribution of the city of Cuxhaven
The city of Cuxhaven levies an overnight tax and a guest contribution for overnight guests. The amount of the overnight tax is set by the city of Cuxhaven and is 2.75% of the gross overnight price.
Business travellers are not affected by this tax. Proof of the commercial purpose of the overnight stay must be provided by the guest before check-in or when payment is due.
In addition, the city of Cuxhaven charges a guest contribution of € 3 within season A and € 2.60 within season B per person and day. The guest contribution is not included in the price and must be paid on site at the hotel. The guest contribution must be paid at the hotel by all persons over the age of 16 who use the spa facilities.
Exempt from the guest contribution are
Persons up to the age of 16. Grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren, siblings, children-in-law of persons whose main place of residence is in Cuxhaven, if they are admitted to the domestic community without payment or reimbursement of costs; however, if they use the beach, for example, the regular beach entrance fee must be paid. Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons who, according to their official identity card, are completely dependent on constant accompaniment (official identity card with the ‘B’ mark). Severely disabled persons who have a degree of disability (GdB) of 100 according to their official identity card.
