The house is located on Frankfurter Str. and can be reached from the train station by public transport in just 11 minutes. Numerous sights and landmarks are within easy reach. Zimmer sauber und Bett bequem, aber zu laut zum Schlafen

Leider hatte ich das Pech in Zimmer 219 untergebracht worden zu sein. Das Zimmer ist wie alle sauber und das Bett sehr gut, aber es war dort immer mal wieder unheimlich laut, sodass es nicht wirklich möglich war nachts durchzuschlafen. Ich habe die lauten Dröhn- und Knackgeräusche, die aus den Wänden kamen, aufgenommen und am nächsten Tag der netten Dame an der Rezeption vorgespielt, die sich auch dafür entschuldigt hat. Das hat mir nur leider wenig Trost gebracht, da ich zwei Stunden später übermüdet zum Staatsexamen in Chemie an der Uni antreten musste und das Hotelzimmer eigentlich gebucht hatte, um ausgeschlafen zu sein.

Directions to the B&B HOTEL Braunschweig-City

Please enter the following address into your GPS to locate the hotel: Wilhelmitorwall 23, 38122 Braunschweig. Cross over the bridge, and the hotel will be on the right-hand side (behind the bridge).

We offer free parking in the hotel’s underground car park (subject to availability). The underground car park is on Frankfurter Strasse. To get there, turn right at the traffic lights and drive parallel to the hotel building. In 150 metres, you’ll see the entrance on the right-hand side marked by a sign displaying “Büro, Hotel”. Once inside the car park, follow the signs towards the hotel’s designated parking area. You’ll need an entry code, which you’ll receive upon check-in either at reception or via the check-in machine. The room code is the same as the car park entry code.

Motorway

Keep right at the fork, then continue on the A39 and follow the signs for Berlin/Wolfsburg/Braunschweig/Salzgitter. Use either of the two right-hand lanes to take exit A391 towards Hannover/Lünerburg/Bs-Gartenstadt/Zentrum. Take Exit 7-BS-Gartenstadt towards BS-Gartenstadt/Zentrum. Continue onto Frankfurter Strasse Street, and then turn right onto Theodor-Heuss-Straße. Turn left onto the Holzhof, and then turn right at the old train station onto Zielstraße.

Bus/train

Tram lines 5 and 3 stop at “Braunschweig Luisenstraße”, as does bus no. 461. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from here. You can also get off at stop “Braunschweig Europaplatz”. Lines 461, 601, 603, 620 and 631 stop here.
