During the day, head over to Paris’ museums to see the current exhibitions and contemporary art from all around the world. Visit the Louvre Museum to discover some exceptional works, including the famous Mona Lisa.
Would you like more cultural visits? Discover the Georges-Pompidou national art and culture centre, which is home to a wonderful collection of modern and contemporary art.

Are you looking for ideas for outings? Go and see one of the latest plays on at the moment in the French capital! You can also enjoy some stand-up comedy in a café to discover the great comedians of the future! There are also many concerts and shows every day in the City of Light.

You’re bound to find a show you like at the Casino de Paris, the Accor Hotel Arena, Olympia or even the Bataclan! If you’re visiting with friends, explore the city of Paris by night and dance in the greatest Parisian clubs!

During the summer, you can in particular enjoy an outdoor music festival like the Lolapalooza and see some of your favourite artists!

During the month of October, like many people, you can enjoy the Nuit Blanche, a mobile exhibition available to the general public, where many floats - decorated and built by many artists over many days - parade through the main streets of Paris, offering a real show to those who come to see them.

Not sure which activities to add to your schedule for a weekend in Paris?

For some of the unmissable sights in Paris, head over to Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur church for a little visit with the family and fill your head with wonderful memories.

On the banks of the Seine, you can take a bateau mouche for a great trip around Paris, where you can get your fill of culture thanks to guided tours in French and other languages. On some bateaux mouches, you can enjoy a good meal at the same time as touring some of the Paris monuments. It’s even more breathtaking at night as all the sites are illuminated and the Eiffel Tower sparkles. It’s really something to see!

Because Paris is also a city of fashion as it is home to Paris Fashion Week every year, head over to some big-name boutiques on the Avenue des Champs Elysées to do some shopping! On the Champs Elysées, you can visit the newly renovated Galeries Lafayette too. The building’s architecture alone is worth a look.

Would you prefer somewhere more unusual? Take a look at the ART42 museum too, the first street art museum in France! Would you like to have a go? Graffiti workshops are available at Graffiti Paris!
