Bootshaus Cologne

Are you in Cologne and wondering where to go to party in the evening? Are you into club culture and hard beats that make your soul vibrate? Then you should make your way to Deutz in Cologne on the right bank of the Rhine.

You won't find any watercraft or fishing equipment at Bootshaus Köln. Nor is it a vacation apartment or a canoe club. At Bootshaus Köln, you'll meet party people who dive into the night and dance like there's no tomorrow. The Bootshaus in the cathedral city is one of the hippest clubs in Germany. Fans of techno, electro and goa music make a pilgrimage here and let themselves be carried away by the beats on what feels like countless floors. You too can dance the night away at Deutzer Hafen, Auenweg 173.

Who's DJing here?

Bootshaus, which used to be called Warehouse, mainly books artists from EDM genres such as electro house, big room, future bass and EDM trap. But while most clubs focus on one particular style, Bootshaus is a special venue because it is open to a wide variety of genres: from dubstep, hardstyle, trap, gabber, to hard techno and kink parties.

The club has been a reference for electronic dance music for more than 15 years. The Bootshaus repeatedly attracts the best DJs in the world: stars such as Skrillex, Paul Kalkbrenner, Headhunterz, Robin Schulz, Don Diablo, DJ Snake, Armin Van Buuren, Felix Jaehn and David Guetta, who are otherwise only to be found on larger festival stages, have already played here.

You're not alone tonight

Right between Rheinpark and Mühlheim harbor, the best DJs heat up the crowd: The hall complex offers space for around 1,600 party guests. The club was recently recognized by the well-known DJ Magazine and made it to 6th place among the world's best clubs. This clearly sets the Bootshaus apart from the competition in Berlin.

You are guaranteed to have a good time on the three floors and in the chilled lounge and can take a relaxing break. And if you want to get some fresh air, you can do so in the stylish outdoor area. The main floor is equipped with the legendary Funktion One sound system and unique lighting technology. Fire effects above the dance floor are also included!

The BLCKBX is the bass paradise par excellence. A new powerful audio system and industrial design make this floor a headbanging stronghold. In the “Dreherei” area, the look of the former workshop has been retained and visually transported into the new millennium with modern lighting effects. Clean, industrial, dark - techno.

The outdoor area is not just for fresh air. In summer, you can relax here with music and sunshine. But the area also invites you to linger in winter - and not just because of the snack station.

Festivals and more

The Warehouse was opened back in 1991, but the current club is best known for its Loonyland party series. As there was great demand to expand and extend the party series outside of the Bootshaus location, the club has been organizing two festivals since 2019: the Nibirii Festival at Dürener Badesee and the Blacklist Festival in the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen.

Top stars from GOA/psytrance, techno, tech house and drum and bass will be performing at Dürener Badesee, while more than 50 acts, 4 stages and 12 hours of non-stop partying will delight around 7,500 guests in Oberhausen.

The Bootshaus is also a permanent fixture at larger festivals and has its own stage at well-known major events such as the BigCityBeats World Club Dome and the Parookaville Festival in Weeze. Great warm-up weekends for the electronic music festival, where you can dance the whole weekend away, are waiting for you!
