Das Comfortzimmer ist das, was ich empfehlen würde. Die Matratze ist hochwertiger als die von anderen Zimmern. Das Personal am Tag meiner Ankunft war äußerst nett, und das Frühstück war auch sauber und frisch.

Praktisch für kurze Aufenthalte
Wie viele andere B&B Hotels befindet sich auch dieses etwas abgelegen in einem Industriegebiet - in diesem Fall praktischerweise neben einer GLOBUS-Markthalle gelegen, so dass auch ein schneller Einkauf möglich ist. Es gibt einen (kleinen) Parkplatz, mit dem Bus erreicht man die Straßenbahnhaltestelle Marsdorf in wenigen Minuten. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Hotel selbst habe ich als sauber empfunden. Nur eine sehr laute Klimaanlage und eine Dusche, deren Temperatur sich nicht ausreichend regulieren ließ, waren ein wenig störend. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt würde ich dieses Hotel wieder besuchen.

DFB Pokalspiel
Ich war zum DFB-Pokal Spiel Köln-Hertha dort. Es waren zwei schöne Tage. Das Hotel lag in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Stadion. Das einchecken lief problemlos und professionell ab. Die junge Dame am Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für alles.

Getting to the hotel
By car:
From Aachen take the A4 to Köln-West junction (10), from Düsseldorf take the A57 to Köln-Nord junction (28) and then follow the A1 direction south to the Köln-West junction (10), or from Frankfurt take the A3 to Köln-Heumar junction (28) then A4 to the Köln-West junction (10). From here take the A1 direction south and then exit at the first junction on the B264, then turn immediately left onto Max-Planck-Str.
From Koblenz take the A61 to Erftstadt then A1 to Köln-West junction (104), take the exit direction Frechen, at the traffic lights continue straight ahead on Max-Planck-Str. until the roundabout, take the second exit and continue on Max-Planck-Str. for approx 600m, and the hotel is on the left hand side. There are parking spaces directly outside the hotel.
Bus/train: From the main train station, take the U-Bahn 18 or 16 direction Bonn to Neumarkt, then continue above ground with tram number 7 direction Frechen to Köln-Marsdorf, then on foot for 1km via Horbeller Str., left onto Dürener Str., and take the first right into Max-Planck-Str. The journey takes about 45 minutes.

The tax rate is 5 per cent on the price of the overnight stay.
There are some exceptions. The following are exempt from taxation:
- People who are dependent on temporary accommodation in an accommodation establishment because they have lost their home due to fire or water damage, for example.
- Refugees who are assigned accommodation in accommodation establishments.
- School trips authorised by the school management
Overnight stays of persons due to medically necessary treatment and necessary accompanying persons upon request.
