To celebrate the five hundred years since the death of Leonardo da Vinci, the Museum returns to its origins by evocatively exposing the two collections with which it opened to the public on February 15, 1953.
The temporary exhibition Leonardo da Vinci Parade, curated and realized by the Museum, stages a rich selection of spectacular models made in the 1950s, interpreting Leonardo's drawings and frescoes by Lombard painters of the 16th century, which were deposited in 1952 by the Pinacoteca di Brera, then directed by Fernanda Wittgens.
