Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

The Mobile World Congress (MWC), also known as the World Mobile Congress, takes place every year in Barcelona. It is one of the largest congresses on communications and mobile technology in the world. This event brings together numerous representatives from the international technology and mobile sector, and several presentations are usually organized on advances and new mobile models. How to attend the MWC?

To enjoy the congress and discover the most important digital innovations, you will need to register. To do this, you just need to visit the official MWC page and choose the pass you prefer. Currently, there are 4 different passes: The Discovery Pass, the Intelligence Pass, the Leader's Pass, and the VIP Pass.

What are the 4 passes available?

The Discovery Pass allows you to access the full exhibition, as well as the start-up system.

The Intelligence Pass is aimed at the most experienced. With this pass, you will not only have access to the exhibition, but also to live face-to-face and virtual conferences. In addition, you can attend discussion panels. It will allow you to participate and listen to the opinions of experts in digital and mobile telephony.

As for the Leader Pass, it allows you to enjoy all the services and access of Discovery + Intelligence. But obviously, there's more! With this pass, you will have access to debates with the Specialist Workshop, as well as premium network functionality.

Finally, the VIP Pass. This offers you exclusive benefits from the beginning of your trip to Barcelona. You can take advantage of many benefits in addition to the services of the Discover, Intelligence, and Leader's Pass.

How to get your tickets/badges?

Once you have reserved your pass for the event, you will receive a QR code. This code will allow you to obtain your badge, which will bear your name, your photo, and the details of your pass.

The MWC is generally held every year in February/March.

 

What to see at the Mobile World Congress Barcelona?

Once you enter the congress, you will discover hundreds of stands/booths represented by different mobile phone companies from around the world. You can see exhibitions on various digital topics. 5G technology, AI (artificial intelligence), video games (virtual reality, for example), health, new mobile models, security, and much more.
