Contrary to what the name suggests, Wiener Neudorf is not part of the Austrian provincial capital, but an independent municipality east of the district capital Mödling. It looks back on an eventful history, was an important business location early on and offers many a sight with its old churches. The town is lively, culturally diverse and delights with several bathing lakes such as the idyllic Kahrteich.

Whether you are in Wiener Neudorf for business or pleasure, you will enjoy getting to know the beautiful surroundings. Maybe you'll rent a bike and explore the Laxenburg Palace Park a few kilometers away - a sprawling garden with palaces and the medieval Franzensburg Castle. The nearby Sparbach Nature Park with its castle ruins or the Föhrenberge Nature Park, characterized by gentle mountains, also entice you to explore.

In the southern Vienna Basin, which includes Wiener Neudorf, a number of picturesque places invite you to make excursions - such as Achau, which is close to nature, Leopoldsdorf, the pilgrimage site Maria Lanzendorf or Himberg.
