weekend a Firenze
Sono stata in questa struttura per un weekend e mi sono trovata benissimo: posizione perfetta a 5 minuti dalla stazione di Santa Maria Novella e praticamente in pieno centro dietro al Duomo. Personale disponibile, attento e assolutamente disponibile. Camera moderna e spaziosa. Colazione eccezionale e terrazza con vista meravigliosa. Assolutamente consigliato!

Clean rooms in a central location w/ breakfast
We booked this B&B for our short stay in Florence and we really enjoyed it. Good value, great location, and easy to get to everything we wanted to see/do in Florence. The check-in process was made simple by utilizing their online check-in and that sped things up when we arrived. We had requested a high-level room to mitigate any concern about street noise and mentioned that this trip is our celebratory anniversary holiday, and we were granted a room on the highest floor with an incredible view of the Duomo right from our window along with a wonderful bottle of Chianti which is the local wine of the area and had the DOCG label to certify it! The room was very clean if a little bit small (but this doesn’t bother us as it was just us 2), and the bed were very comfortable. In fact, during our trip to Rome, we stayed in 3 places and Hotel B&B Laurus al Duomo has the *most comfortable* bed of all our stays. The hotel is located less than 10 minutes walk from the train station, and mere minutes from Piazza del Duomo with stunning views of the cathedral. The Galleria dell’Accdemia is also about 10 minutes away, the Central Market is 5 minutes away, and the Uffizi Gallery is also about 10-15 minutes. Each morning, we were able to get breakfast with a view of the Duomo as part of our stay. The breakfast was good and had decent variety from the classic sweet pastry offerings (croissant/cornettos, doughnuts, pistachio cake, tarts, muffins), and continental fare (scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, a full honeycomb you could break pieces off of, a selection of toppings for the pancake, yoghurt, cereals, bread and cured meats and cheese, and selection of fruit), and coffee. The front desk is manned all the time and we were glad that they were able to hold our bags for a while after we checked out before we left. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable stay!

From the A1 motorway:
Take the Firenze Scandicci exit towards Florence and enter the SGC Firenze - Pisa - Livorno. Continue on Viale Etruria and take Viale Francesco Talenti, SS67, Via Il Prato, Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci and Via del Moro towards Via de 'Cerretani. The B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo is located in Via de 'Cerretani.
On the train
The B&B Hotel Laurus al Duomo is located a few steps from the Santa Maria Novella (SMN) station and to reach it you need to exit the station and take Via Panzani, which will soon become Via de 'Cerretani. The hotel is on the left.
