Mein Aufenthalt im B&B Hotel war sehr angenehm! Saubere, moderne Zimmer, ein bequemes Bett und eine ruhige Atmosphäre. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Perfekt für einen kurzen Städtetrip – ich komme gerne wieder!

Dieses Hotel lohnt nicht ![trustyou]()
Das Hotel steht nahe des Duisburger Hauptbahnhofes direkt neben der ungedeckelten Autobahn. Ich hatte ein Comfort-Zimmer gebucht und bekam das Zimmer 401. Ich kannte Comfort-Zimmer bisher vom B&B Bremen City, wo die doppelt so groß sind wie normale Zimmer. Das Comfort-Zimmer 401 im B&B Duisburg Hbf-Süd war jedoch ein völlig normales Zimmer mit normalem Bett (ohne die bessere Matratze, wie sie mir die Dame an der Rezeption versprach) und normalem Badezimmer. Lediglich mit einem Plastikwasserkocher und Instant-Kaffeepulver (nicht mal Nespresso). Wie mir die freundliche Dame an der Rezeption sagte, sind die Comfort-Zimmer nicht standardisiert, sondern in den B&B-Hotels unterschiedlich. Im Falle von Duisburg Hbf-Süd lohnt der Premium-Aufschlag definitiv nicht. Wenigstens lag das Zimmer ruhiger nach hinten zum Parkplatz und nicht nach vorne zur Autobahn 🛣️🔊🎚️ Das B&B-Hotel Duisburg Hbf-Süd ist bisher das erste und einzige B&B-Hotel, in dem ich war (und ich habe schon viele im In- und Ausland gesehen), in dem die Dusche nicht funktionierte. Kalt duschen wäre möglich gewesen, heißes Wasser kam nur als Rinnsal. Am Abend wie auch um 4 Uhr morgens. Ab jetzt werde ich wieder im B&B-Hotel Duisburg Hbf-Nord übernachten. Es liegt am Bahnhofsvorplatz (= der gedeckelte Teil der Autobahn) und daher näher am Hauptbahnhof, das Zimmer war größer, hatte einen Balkon zum Innenhof und das Bett war besser. Lediglich die Sauberkeit ließ zu Wünschen übrig und das Badezimmer war noch im Vorzustand des übernommenen Hotels.

Nur bedingt barrierefrei
Behindertengerecht ist alleine das großzügige Badezimmer mit allem erforderlichen Inventar. ABER: dorthin muss man erst einmal gelangen. Der Türöffner der Haustür war defekt und diese daher so schwer zu öffnen, dass es meiner Partnerin im Rollstuhl unmöglich war, diese aus eigener Kraft zu überwinden. Gleiches gilt für die Zimmertüren, deren Schließmechanismus nur mit äußerster Kraftanstrengung zu überwinden war. Darüber hinaus waren die Betten nicht unterfahrbar, so dass meine Partnerin statt im Bett im Rollstuhl übernachten musste, weil der Einsatz des mitgebrachten Lifters nicht möglich war. Im Bad lief rund um die Uhr die Lüftung. Dadurch wurde es dort unangenehm kalt.
