Marseille Provence airport is the main airport in the Marseille region, with direct flights to many destinations in Europe and North Africa. There are regular departures to several countries in the Indian Ocean, Canada and the Middle East.

Marseille Provence airport: location and access

Marseille Provence airport is located in the municipality of Marignane, very close to Vitrolles and its beaches. It is one of France’s largest regional airports. It is an equal distance between the cities of Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, on the banks of Berre Lake. It is easily accessed by train, bus and underground thanks to the city’s urban transport network, or by taxi and Uber from neighbouring towns. Several car parks with space for a total of 14,500 vehicles allow users to get here using their own or a hire vehicle. Finally, a shuttle bus makes daily journeys from and to Saint Charles Station.
