Outdoor pool Vaihingen

The Rosental outdoor pool in Stuttgart Vaihingen

It's a hot summer's day and you don't feel like visiting a museum or going shopping in the city? Then cool off at the Rosental outdoor pool! It's only two kilometers from the B&B Hotel Stuttgart Vaihingen to the Vaihingen outdoor pool, which is located between Rosentalstraße and Freibadstraße. The spacious grounds with extensive lawns and plenty of shady trees offer enough space for all visitors - even in the height of summer! Shimmering blue water, diving towers, the smell of French fries and an extraordinary slide provide sporting fun for young and old.

What can I expect at the Rosental outdoor pool?

Vaihingen is the largest district in Stuttgart in terms of area and one of the most popular residential locations. It is the educational district of the state capital with good connections to public transport and the airport. The high quality of life is reflected in the numerous leisure facilities, sports areas, playgrounds, a lively retail sector as well as outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The outdoor pool in the south of Stuttgart is nestled in an idyllic green oasis in the immediate vicinity of the Rosentalsee and Feuersee lakes. In summer 2021, the Rosental outdoor pool was voted the best outdoor pool in Stuttgart, and not without reason.
reason: sports swimmers have a 50-metre-long pool with eight lanes at their disposal, right next to it is a 1,450-square-metre non-swimmers' pool with a water depth of 0.60 to 1.35 meters. The attractive pool landscape also includes a 1-meter and a 3-meter diving tower, a 170 m² paddling pool and a children's area with a sand and match area. The absolute highlight is of course the 100 meter long water slide. It goes down an impressive 10 meters. Water attractions such as floor jets and bubble loungers are also popular spots, reminiscent of a spa and wellness stay. There are separate courts for basketball, beach volleyball, tennis and other ball games, and fans of naturism can also sunbathe and relax undisturbed on a 6,000 m² naturist meadow. The fun of swimming and playing naturally makes you hungry. If you're feeling peckish, the restaurant is on hand to cater for your physical well-being. The outdoor pool is a place where not only people feel at home. Among the bathers, there are always pairs of parents with eleven young geese. The so-called Nile geese seem to feel at home not only in the adjacent lake, but also on the outdoor pool grounds.

Around the Rosental outdoor pool

The outdoor pool is located away from residential areas in a green area through which the Sindelbach meanders. You'll feel like you're on vacation as soon as you arrive: A leisurely stroll between meadows, trees and shrubs or an extended stay at the children's playground right by the lake are popular activities alongside a visit to the outdoor pool. Would you like to take a longer walk? If you walk from the east of Vaihingen Park past the outdoor pool to the west of the green area, it takes a good 40 minutes.
on the way. There are always shady passages along the way, making the walk pleasant even in summer. The Vaihingen indoor pool is located next to the Rosental outdoor pool. It is a small indoor pool with a children's pool and 25-meter pool. There is also an outdoor terrace and swimming and fitness classes.
