Booking instructions step by step

To book a room on www.hotel-bb.com, please follow the steps as below :

  1. Select the hotel, date of arrival and departure, number of guests, type of room and room rate.
  2. Select any additional services such as breakfast, unless these services are already included in the rate mentioned in point 1.
  3. Verify the details of the booking, the total amount, and the specific terms and conditions (room, rate and/or additional services). Then, enter the guest details.
  4. Read carefully and then accept the general terms and conditions of sale, the terms of use and privacy policy terms and finally, confirm your booking.
  5. B&B Hotels shall acknowledge receipt of the booking by immediately sending an e-mail summarizing: the type of booking made, any additional services booked, the booking dates, the rate, the total amount and a breakdown of this amount, the terms of sale related to the selected rate (accepted by the customer), Customer Service information, and the address of the hotel to which the customer can send any complaints, should they have any.

Room reservation 

Non-guaranteed booking 

Non-guaranteed booking is made when you reserve without providing bank card details to the hotel.
The non-guaranteed reservation expires automatically at 6.00 pm on the arrival date if you do not appear in the hotel. After 6:00 pm your room will be automatically released for resale.  

Guaranteed booking

Your booking will be fully guaranteed as soon as your stay is paid for, either directly in cash or by credit/debit card at the hotel, or when you provide your credit/debit card details to secure payment (unless the card details are not valid).
Providing your credit/debit card details to pay for your booking does not imply you will be charged for the nights you have booked, but it does authorise the hotel to charge you for the first night’s stay in the event of a no-show, if the booking has not already been cancelled (in the case of bookings with free cancellation).
An e-mail with a booking number will be sent to the e-mail address you have given the hotel for all guaranteed bookings.

Special offers 

These offers, which are only available on the official www.hotel-bb.com website or through B&B Hotels commercial partners, cannot be combined with other discounts, and cannot be cancelled, refunded, or changed (including rooms and any additional services).
As these are non-refundable bookings, 100% of the total amount of the booking will be charged at the time it is made, unless expressly stated in the terms of the offer, and this amount shall not be refunded (including rooms and any additional services).
In the event of a no-show by the customer on the scheduled date of arrival, and even if the hotel is notified by any means, the bookings shall be cancelled in full, and the hotel shall reserve the right to charge the total amount of the booking to cover cancellation costs and damages.
 

Prices and Invoicing

Prices are indicated before and during the room booking process. The prices shown are per room, for the number of people, type of room, dates and the selected hotel.
The prices confirmed to the customer include all taxes (except the currently applicable tourism tax which is 4% of the net room rate) and are only valid for the period stated on the website. Unless stated otherwise, any additional services (breakfast, parking, pets, etc.) are not included in the price.
The tourism tax is never included in the booking (either in refundable or non-refundable bookings) and must be paid directly to the hotel on the day of arrival. The tourism tax can vary according to the Hungarian national or regional legislation applicable in each case.
The prices are shown in HUF and include the VAT in force on the date of booking. Any changes in the VAT rate will be automatically passed on and added to the price shown when the stay is invoiced (date of arrival).
Any modification or introduction of a new law or regulation imposed by the competent authorities will automatically be passed on and added to the price shown when the stay is invoiced (date of arrival).

When you arrive at the hotel, you can request a detailed invoice for the full amount of your stay. 
 

Group bookings

A booking of more than 10 (10) rooms will be classed as a group booking, and may be subject to special terms and conditions and/or supplements (including pre-payments, penalties and joint liability), to be specifically agreed with B&B Hotels and its partners in writing.
 

Cancelling or changing your booking

Refundable bookings may be cancelled free of charge until 6.00 pm on the day of arrival. To cancel a booking, you must expressly inform the hotel of your intention to cancel by contacting them directly by telephone and/or e-mail. You will receive confirmation of the cancellation immediately. In the event of subsequent cancellation, the hotel will charge the amount corresponding to the first night by debiting the credit/debit card provided as security, to cover cancellation costs. The remaining nights will be cancelled.
Non-refundable bookings may not be changed or cancelled, and the amount paid reimbursed (including rooms and any additional services).
 

Extending your stay

Contact the hotel reception before 12:00 pm to find out about availability. If there are rooms available, these must be paid for immediately and extended access to them will be given.
 

Cutting short your stay

In case of refundable bookings, you must notify the hotel before 12:00 pm on the previous day that you are cutting short your stay. A refund will be made for the proportional part of the cancelled stay (using the same method as the one used to make the payment).

No refund will be given for non-refundable bookings (special offers), these are not refundable per se.
 

No-show

In the case of guaranteed and refundable bookings, a no-show will lead to the immediate charge of the amount corresponding to the first night by debiting the credit/debit card provided as security, to cover cancellation costs. The remaining nights will be cancelled.

In the case of non-refundable bookings, 100% of the total amount of the booking will be charged at the time it is made, unless expressly stated in the terms of the offer, and this amount shall not be refunded under any circumstances (including rooms and any additional services).
In the event of a no-show by the customer on the scheduled date of arrival, and even if the hotel is notified by any means, the booking shall be cancelled in full, and the hotel shall reserve the right to charge the total amount of the booking to cover cancellation costs and damages.
 

Payment

Any payment equal or higher than Euro 7.000 cannot be made in cash either if made by individuals or legal entities. The prohibition applies also in the event that one or more payments under the above-mentioned threshold are executed in order to bypass the applicable laws.
 

Children

Throughout the whole stay in the hotel children below 12 years old must be under constant care and control of the adults. 
Baby cot is available on request and must be confirmed by the hotel. 
Up to 3 people can be accommodated in a double room. One baby cot can be placed in some of the rooms.
One child up to 12 years old sleeping with parents in the room stays at the hotel free of charge. 

Hotel reserves the right to verify that every travelers under 18 year arriving with his / her parents or with an adult having the parental declaration of the stay with them.
 

Theft and damage

In the event of theft or damage to belongings as well as in the event of fire, water damage or other damage in the hotel room, the guest must immediately inform the hotel staff. 
 

Pets

Animals are accepted in B&B hotels only in strict accordance with the relevant rules available at the hotel of your stay. This service is subject to an additional charge. The owner of the animal will be held directly responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused by the animal to the hotel, third parties, employees or other clients of the hotel. The cost of any damage caused during the stay may be billed to the client.

Complaints

Any suggestions, complaints or disagreements about the services provided should be addressed directly to the following e-mail address: tamas.toth@hotelbb.com within 30 calendar days from the last day of your stay in the hotel.
 

Settlement of disputes

The competent court for claims of B&B Hotels against Customers-consumers and for claims of Customers-consumers against B&B Hotels is the court having its general jurisdiction over a claim under the general rules of the Hungarian Code for Civil Procedure.
 

Staying with us

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the use of the booked room shall be from 2:00 pm on the first day of the booking to 12:00 pm on the last day of the booking.

Only the person indicated in the registration card has the right to use the Room. 

In line with the currently valid Hungarian regulation every travelers have to provide the full name, address, passport or personal ID number, nationality at latest at the time of the check-in. 

The customer agrees and undertakes to use the room in a reasonable manner in line with its purpose. Any behavior contrary to moral standards and to the public order will lead to the hotel management to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation or reimbursement (should payment have already been made).
B&B hotels provide free Wi-Fi access. Clients agree not to use the computer resources to reproduce, represent, provide or share with the public any property protected by copyright or similar rights without the authorization of the rights holders or in violation of their rights.
 

Overbooking and force majeure

The hotel reserves the right to totally or partially relocate customers in an equivalent category hotel, depending on availability, solely and exclusively if the booked accommodation is not available (“overbooking”) for reasons attributable to the hotel. Any extra costs (either in terms of accommodation and/or transport), between the two hotels shall be borne by the hotel originally booked by the customer.
B&B Hotels shall not be liable for any breach of its obligations as a result of an event of force majeure. Events of force majeure are deemed to be those usually recognized by the jurisprudence of Hungarian courts. In this case, the hotel reserves the right to relocate all or part of the guests to an equivalent category hotel, according to availability.
 

Privacy and personal data

When a client uses the B&B Hotels website or mobile applications, in particular when making a reservation, B&B Hotels processes personal data. All relevant information is included in the “Privacy Policy”.
 

Applicable law

These general terms are governed by Hungarian law for hotels located in Hungary. 
 

Amendments to the General Terms of Sale

B&B Hotels reserves the right to amend, partially or totally, these General Terms of Sale, without prior notice.
