The Schlossberg is a large park in the heart of the city. There you will find several interesting buildings, such as Eggenberg Palace with its clock tower, which are now part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The clock tower was built in 1712 and offers a fabulous view over the city from a height of 28 meters. The clock tower can also be reached by cable car.
