B&B Academy Spain

B&B Academy is a specialised training initiative born out of our commitment to social and labour inclusion and in collaboration with the Fundación Tomillo. This academy offers young people in vulnerable situations the opportunity to train as Multipurpose Receptionists and access the world of work. The three-month programme combines theoretical training given by professionals from the Fundación Tomillo, practical classes with volunteers from our chain and professional internships in our hotels or in other companies in the sector.

The Fundación Tomillo is an organisation with extensive experience in training and job placement for young people at risk of social exclusion. Its focus is on the integral development of the participants, promoting their self-knowledge, empowerment and autonomy so that they can reach their maximum potential.

B&B Academy is part of our Social Action Plan, an initiative that encompasses all the actions of our company in terms of social responsibility. This plan seeks to generate a positive impact on the community through education, inclusion and support for those who need it most.

With this initiative, at B&B HOTELS we not only contribute to the training and employability of young people in vulnerable situations, but we also incorporate new talents to our team.  The academy represents a commitment to equal opportunities and a response to the needs of the hotel sector.

At B&B Academy we want to be an example of how companies can generate a positive social impact through training and collaboration with third sector organisations.  In this project we demonstrate our commitment to building a fairer and more inclusive society.
