Hotels in Baden-Württemberg

Welcome to Baden-Württemberg – Welcome to the South

What do soap bubbles, a cuckoo clock, a perm and a fuel cell have in common? That's right, all these inventions come from Baden-Württemberg. Of course, the state is also the cradle of the automobile and houses the museums of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche in the state capital Stuttgart. B&B HOTELS invites you to get to know the variety and contrasts of the land of Spätzle and Maultaschen.

From Heidelberg to Constance, we offer you modern and comfortable rooms with free WLAN and a varied breakfast. Whether a trip to Lake Constance, to the Europa-Park in Rust or to the games city of Ravensburg - our hotels are always in the immediate vicinity of your favorite places.

Nature, culture, enjoyment and health

Baden-Württemberg is located in the heart of Europe and is characterized by a varied landscape with vineyards, dark forests and the oldest caves in Germany. The high quality of life cannot only be explained by the Black Forest cherry cake and the Trollinger wines. The "Ländle" is also the number one spa country with 55 health resorts and spas. Let yourself be pampered by the extensive spa & wellness offer.

From Hohenzollern Castle to Heidelberg Castle, from Salem Abbey to Maulbronn Monastery - more than a millennium of architectural history awaits you on your visit. Beautifully landscaped gardens seduce you with a unique floral fragrance and the views on your hikes will leave you speechless. Baden-Württemberg is ideal for enjoying your holiday with all your senses.

The natural highlights in Baden-Württemberg

Anyone interested in the various regions in Baden-Württemberg will quickly realize: Wherever you travel, in all directions there are great excursion destinations for nature lovers. Hike through the Black Forest, experience the Danube Valley on a bike tour, splash in Lake Constance or relax in Baden-Baden.

The Black Forest and hiking areas

In the Black Forest there are many small towns like Baiersbronn, known for its star cuisine and a clear hiking sky amidst the multifaceted nature. In the hiking area around Freiburg im Breisgau you should climb the famous Kaiserstuhl or the Tuniberg. Don't worry, they are not the highest mountains in the Black Forest, but they are two of the most beautiful.

Very close by, only 30 minutes by car south of Freiburg, you can see not only the surrounding forest on the 1284 meter high Schauinsland, but also the Vosges, the Jura and the Alpine chain. In very good visibility even Mont Blanc!

The Allgäu is the Alpine foothills that extend from Lake Constance to the west to the Lech in Bavaria. Keep an eye out for eagles on your hikes - the king of the skies is a welcome guest here. Further hiking areas are the Swabian Alb and the enchanting Tauber Valley.

Some Lakes

One of the most popular holiday destinations is Lake Constance, the largest lake in Germany, which borders Austria and Switzerland. In addition to Constance, Meersburg also attracts many visitors every year with its picturesque old town.

Things are a bit quieter at the Schluchsee, the largest lake in the Black Forest. The 18-kilometer circular trail can be done in five hours. If the trail is too long, you can shorten the hike with a boat trip. The lake is also ideal for families for cycling tours.

The Titisee is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Black Forest. In summer, vacationers dangle their legs in the water from the pedal boat. In winter, not only children use the 1.2-kilometer-long toboggan run.

Discover the origin of the Danube as well! The Danube spring is located in Donaueschingen and in the district of Tuttlingen it disappears underground again. A perfect opportunity to repeat the local geography, because we all learned once: Brigach and Breg bring the Danube to Weg.

A trip to the city

Located south of Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse, Baden-Württemberg offers a high-quality and rich cultural tourism offer. Whether Bauhaus architecture in Stuttgart or Ulm or old town flair in Freiburg or Heidelberg - many places are unique.

Heilbronn, the "holy fountain", is a lively city on the Neckar and at the same time the richest city in Germany. Here, the vineyards reach to the edge of the city and the Köpfertal and the large park in the middle of the city offer wonderful recreational opportunities. It is also the oldest wine town in Württemberg and therefore the ideal place for a pleasure vacation with wine harvest festivals and wine hikes.

Karlsruhe also has its charm, even if the city is mainly known for its justice system. It is the warmest city in Germany and takes visitors back to the Middle Ages with the Durlach old town, the picturesque market square, the historic city wall and the small alleys.

See for yourself this beautiful region. The B&B HOTELS look forward to your visit.
